The CDE-L steam traps are designed to remove condensate that does not contain aggressive impurities from compressed air systems. In this case, the condensate formed in the pneumatic system is removed automatically without loss of compressed air.
Features of CDE-L
Condensate traps CDE-L have a built-in container for collecting and temporarily storing condensate with a magnetic float sensor, with an automatic control system. The controlled diaphragm valve is connected directly to the tank. It is protected by a mud screen-mesh. When the maximum level is reached, the control system opens the electric valve, and the condensate is discharged. When the minimum level is reached, the valve closes, thus preventing possible air leaks (electronic condensate trap with level control and zero losses). All CDE-L models have removable threaded connections of the condensate inlet and outlet. Models from CDE8LC to CDE500LC have a free signal contact and a second condensate inlet hole in the lower part of the housing. The steam traps comply with the requirements of Directive 97/23/EC and Directive 2004/108/EC EMC.
